Hydrotherm massage is a unique experience. 

 

It was developed by John Holman to provide an effective massage while removing pressure from a therapist’s thumbs and wrists. You relax on warm water filled pads, which are large enough to cover the whole couch and allow the heat to gently sooth you, as the water supports you and keeps your spine in alignment. Your knees are slightly raised to ease your lower back into alignment, so that your spine is gently stretched, supported and in full contact with the warm water mat. 

 

Once you are settled, you simply switch off from the world, a whole treatment is carried out with you lying face up, and this means there are no interruptions for turning over halfway through a treatment, but your back and backs of the legs can still be massaged. The mats and techniques used allow for a deeply effective massage, without the discomfort of deep localised pressure.
