What is Baby Massage?
Baby massage has been traditional in many Eastern cultures, for example, in India, Africa and Asia, and has been introduced to the Western world during the last 30 years, and has recently gained popularity in the UK.
Baby massage is carried out by a parent or primary carer using a high quality non-fragranced vegetable oil, following a sequence of loving, soothing movements in a sequence which been developed over many years. The massage offers a wonderful experience and a special time to communicate both verbally and non-verbally with babies and small infants, so that they feel loved, valued and respected.
